The problem

Your business has departments. You probably don't.

An independent operator still needs financial control, menu costing, margin discipline, demand planning and standards. But there is no finance team, marketing department or operations manager waiting upstairs.

“We were busy. Where's the money?”Turn sales, purchases, labour and overheads into a weekly answer.
“Is this dish actually making anything?”Cost recipes, see true GP and price with evidence.
“Why is the GP off?”Separate purchasing from actual cost of sales and find the leak.
“How do I fill Thursday?”Choose one weak session, one hook and one measurable target.
The routine

One coffee. Six quick checks. Three actions.

The weekly front door is deliberately small. Specialist tools stay underneath until a problem actually needs them.

5 MIN

One operating rhythm

The tools share one philosophy: simple inputs, visible exceptions, named actions and no duplicated admin.

30 Minute Monday

The useful bits of a head office. Without having one.

Larger and tenanted hospitality operations often have access to regular business reviews, financial-control support, stocktaking, marketing resources, food advice, training and operational support.

No Head Office turns that management discipline into practical tools an independent operator can use without a consultant sitting beside them.

Simple enough to use after a brutal weekend.
No 40-tab management-report ritual.
Built around decisions, not data collection.
If a number does not change what you do, it probably does not belong on Monday.
Works for pubs and restaurants.
Especially owner-operated, food-led businesses without a central office team.
Designed to grow with you.
Use the basic weekly control first; go deeper only when the business needs it.
Who it's for

Independent hospitality where the operator still has to operate.

Built for

Independent pubs, gastropubs, restaurants and small groups where the owner, landlord or chef-owner is close to service and does not have a finance or operations department.

Especially useful where Excel, supplier invoices, notebooks, booking systems and gut instinct currently live in separate places.

Not trying to be

Enterprise software, an accounting package, a till system, a stock-counting app or a replacement for your accountant, bookkeeper or legal/compliance duties.

No Head Office is the weekly owner-control layer between all those systems and the decisions you make.

Founding launch

Start small. Prove it earns its place every Monday.

Launch pricing is deliberately simple while No Head Office proves the product with independent operators.

FAQ

Before you give Monday 30 minutes.

Does the whole toolkit take 30 minutes?

No. The promise is that the core weekly business review can be completed in roughly 30 minutes. Initial recipe setup, a physical stocktake or resolving a compliance problem can take longer. Those deeper jobs happen only when the Monday review identifies a reason.

Is this only for pubs?

No. It was designed around independent hospitality operations and works for food-led pubs, gastropubs and restaurants. The common problem is the same: a hands-on operator without a large head-office team.

Is this accounting software?

No. It is an operational-control system. It helps an owner see sales, purchases, labour, GP, demand and priorities. Continue using your accountant/bookkeeper and required statutory systems.

Do I need to be good at Excel?

No advanced Excel knowledge should be required. The operator-facing cells are deliberately obvious and the calculations sit underneath. If the finished product needs a training course, we have designed it badly.

What happens if everything is fine?

Close it. That is a feature. 30 Minute Monday is exception-led: if the business is performing normally, it should not create unnecessary jobs.

Will there be new recipes or seasonal tools?

The product structure is designed to support optional seasonal recipe packs and recurring tools later. They are not required to use the core No Head Office system.

No Head Office

Your pub takes the whole week. Give it 30 minutes to tell you how it's actually doing.

Know last week. Find the problem. Decide the three things that matter. Then get back to running the place.
